snom Technology, a provider of IP desktop phones and IP communications solutions has just introduced to the market an all new line of business VoIP phones that are designed for small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) that require an enterprise-class desktop phone on a smaller budget.
The new 7xx series of business VoIP phones include the 720 and 760 phones that combine the multiple programmable buttons and standard business functionality of the snom 3xx series with the functionality, styling and Gigabit Ethernet switch found in the snom 8xx series.
Important features of the 7xx line of the business VoIP phones include a Gigabit Ethernet switch, automatic provisioning, wireless LAN connectivity and the company’s wideband high-definition voice quality. Both phones can transfer data at a speed of 1000Mbits/s without slowing down the network or a connected PC, company officials said.
In addition, Bluetooth connectivity is provided via an optional USB stick, allowing business customers to use a compatible Bluetooth headset with their 7xx series phone. The 760 business VoIP phone features two USB ports for additional connectivity options. The 760 also includes a 16-key programmable busy lamp field and four context-sensitive keys.
The 720 business VoIP phone strikes a simple design with a four-line monochrome graphical display, as well as 18 fully configurable function keys and four variable keys, aimed at managing and contacting large groups of people rapidly. Supporting all standard business VoIP calling features such as an address book with 1,000 possible entries, speed dialing, URL dialing, ringtone selection and LED call indication, the 720 delivers a cost-effective communications solutions to SMEs.
